kryptonite

kryptonite is an element from the planet krypton. This element called kryptonite is what makes superman weak despite of his overall strength. Superman avoids getting exposed to this element to avoid getting weak. His enemies discovery of this has given them the idea to create a kryptonite laden weapon to defeat superman...

sounds too familiar to me.. i can relate with it. Lately i thought i was strong enough to become a person of good standing in front of God. I thought i have defeated this kryptonite in my life... it has been 14 years to be exact since this kryptonite started. i thought i had fought a good fight. and that i can readily say that i am finally over with it. but lo and behold...i encountered this old kryptonite recently and unexpectedly without any indications that it still exists, and boy that really made me so awfully weak. I talked to God very often during those times, while i was there being exposed to this kryptonite and pleaded with God to please please help me get over with this. The Lord poured his love to me and i was able to survive with it. because i was bruised from my exposure to this kryptonite, i vividly remember a devotion that spoke to my heart... using the Red Book of knowing Jesus, i stumbled upon the "Power of Jesus' Blood" i was encouraged and strengthened from how Jesus' blood can wash even to most seething pain in my heart, that through Jesus blood i can be washed clean and be free from this kryptonite.
i avoided getting in contact with this kryptonite but it was difficult not to be exposed with especially so that i am in a crowd with it.

as of this time...i am in a warfare mode... i know that Jesus' blood has washed me clean. it was just that it's not easy getting over with it especially that i am not used with it yet. with all of this i can only say that - I CAN OVERCOME KRYPTONITE THROUGH HIM (JESUS) WHO STRENGTHENS ME... you don't have power over me Kryptonite... you are nothing! you are defeated!
