dormant

thank God...it is slowly subsiding...the feeling of pain and loss is slowly leaving me... thank you Jesus for your grace...and slowly moving on...i hope that this would be over.. i have experienced this before...perhaps an appropriate term is DORMANT.

online dictionaries define the word dormant as : A VOLCANO LACKING IN ACTIVITY. meaning it is inactive. using it in a sentence: BECAUSE THE VOLCANO IS DORMANT FOR CENTURIES, NO EXPECTED IT TO ERUPT.

my emotions of recovery was dormant for years, until it erupted lately...it was an expected and terrible eruption, that i was caught off guard. it was difficult to manage an eruption when you never expected it to happen. its fury kept me unaware and i turned on to the surest thing to help me...open my laptop (thank God i brought it with me) and went online to solicit prayers from people whom i knew could understand and give me strength to go on. i prayed earnestly and asked God for covering. one day while i was having my quiet time, using the red book, the Holy Spirit spoke to me that i pray about vindication. it dawned on me that yeah! i do need vindication! i know i was misjudged that i also had guilt feelings about this failed relationship. i thought it was all my fault... i took me so long before i can even forgive myself.
i hope that this feeling i have right now is not dormant... i hope that this is a true recovery...this is God's hand moving...
DORMANT doesn't mean you have overcome the tragedy...it does mean it subsided but still has the tendency to erupt in the future...
